Update on 2023 National Matches

Planning is underway for the Canadian National Championship matches the DCRA will be conducting this year. Major construction is planned for Charlie Range at Connaught this year, therefore our TR and F-Class matches will be held “off site”.

DCRA has authorized the use of electronic targets for our national matches this year. We look forward to firing both our TR and F-Class national championships on e-targets.
The Target Rifle national matches will be held Mon-Sat 14-19 August 2023, on Mons Range, CFB Borden, which is about 100km north of Toronto. The Ontario Rifle Association will be conducting their Provincial Championships on the preceding three days Fri-Sun 11-13 Aug on the same range. Commercial accommodations can be found in Angus, Alliston and Barrie, ON.
The F-Class National Matches will be held Thu-Sun 24-27 August 2023 at SPRA’s Northstar Range in Nokomis, Saskatchewan. An additional warmup/practice day Wed-23 Aug may also be held. After the nationals, a day of teams-format shooting on Mon-28 Aug will be held (TBD whether a “training camp” or clinic format will be offered, or simply a day of teams shooting and practice). On-site tent and RV camping is available, and off-site accommodations are available in Watrous, SK.
We are also in the early planning stages for the National Service Conditions Championship, which we hope to conduct at Connaught but no further information is available at present.
Entry forms and information packages will be available later this month.
