SUMMARY:National Service Conditions Championship 2025
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE 1:  Due to low registration\, Service Rifle was reduced to 2 days and will now be held 9-10 September vice 9-12 September. M17 & M19 is being removed from the CoF \nUpdate 2: NSCC PROGRAM AMENDMENT 2025-02 (PRECISION RIFLE) \nService Conditions shooters\, the National Service Conditions Championships is planned for 5 to 12 September and will be held at CFB Borden\, Ontario after a six-year hiatus. \nWhat is the National Service Conditions Championships otherwise called NSCC you ask? \nNSCC is a multidisciplinary shooting competition where members of the Dominion of Canadian Rifle Association (DCRA) compete alongside Canadian Armed Forces\, RCMP and other Law Enforcement Officers (sometimes international military) with Service Pistols and/or Service Rifles and/or Precision Rifles. You can compete in one\, two or all three disciplines based on your interests. \nService Pistol matches are based on static skill drills with competitors using handguns which are like the approved IPSC production list to shoot 18+ matches. \nService Rifle matches will challenge competitors physical and marksmanship skills with Deliberate\, Snap\, Rapid\, Rundown and moving target matches as far out as 500 yards. This will require competitors to also\nbe proficient while shooting in the prone\, sitting\, kneeling and standing positions as well as rapid changes in positions between target exposures. Also\, rundowns include running down to the next firing position\n100 yards away in 45 seconds. \nPrecision Rifle matches will challenge those prone competitors with shooting Deliberate\, Snap and Moving Targets between 200 and 900 yards. If you have a rifle which is one MOA or better\, this may be\nthe discipline for you as you will have challenging targets while shooting under time constraints and yes…. you will have to figure out the proper wind call! \nThe Course of Fire booklet is posted on the DCRA website and can be viewed at: NSCC CoF Booklet 2025 \nThe Competition Manual will be uploaded shortly to the DCRA website which will also contain information on competitor equipment including firearm eligibility.
